FORCE Soccer Club

FORCE Soccer Club was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to FORCE Soccer Club, 46 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof FORCE Soccer Club could be found in Group 5 together with Örby IS 1, Alingsås KIK and Rödsle BK. FORCE Soccer Club continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against KFV Segeberg with 2-4. In the Final, Boo IS won over IF Brommapojkarna and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 12. FORCE Soccer comes from San Mateo which lies approximately 8600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around San Mateo does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (EBU Bay Oaks, DeAnza Force North, Palo Alto Soccer Club, SF Sol FC, FORCE North Soccer Club and San Francisco Seals).
