Rödsle BK

Rödsle BK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Rödsle BK, 46 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Rödsle BK could be found in Group 5 together with Örby IS 1, Alingsås KIK and FORCE Soccer Club. Rödsle BK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Boroughmuir Thistle Football Club 2 with 0-2. In the Final, IF Väster 1 won over Azalea BK 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 12. Rödsle comes from Oskarshamn which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oskarshamn does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Högsby IK and Mönsterås GoIF).
