Selånger FK

Selånger FK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Selånger FK, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Selånger FK could be found in Group 23 together with Paimion Haka, FC Djursholm, Uppåkra IF and Tromsø IL. Selånger FK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Åkersberga BK with 2-3. In the Final, TGK Worcestershire won over Gideonsbergs IF Vit and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Selånger FK comes from Sundsvall which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sundsvall does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Kubikenborgs IF, Sundsvalls DFF and GIF Sundsvall).
