Paimion Haka

Paimion Haka was one of 12 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Paimion Haka, 118 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Paimion Haka could be found in Group 23 together with FC Djursholm, Selånger FK, Uppåkra IF and Tromsø IL. Paimion Haka continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Smedby AIS 1 with 0-2. In the Final, TGK Worcestershire won over Gideonsbergs IF Vit and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Paimion Haka comes from Paimio which lies approximately 690 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Paimion Haka, the club FC Ruskon Pallo does also originate from the area around Paimio.
