Tromsø IL

Tromsø IL was one of 59 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Tromsø IL, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Tromsø IL could be found in Group 23 together with Paimion Haka, FC Djursholm, Selånger FK and Uppåkra IF. Tromsø IL continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Åhus IF with 0-1. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Tromsø comes from Tromsø which lies approximately 1400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tromsø does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Fløya IF and Ishavsbyen FK).
