Skövde KIK

Skövde KIK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Skövde KIK, 61 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Skövde KIK could be found in Group 7 together with Typhoon FC, Ösmo GIF FK and O Berytus. Skövde KIK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Järla IF with 2-4. In the Final, Lyn Fotball won over Eskilsminne IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Skövde KIK also participated in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in G18 Play off B, but lost it against Göteborgs DFF with 0-2. Skövde KIK comes from Skövde which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Sils IF, IFK Skövde FK, IFK Mariestad, Falköpings KIK, IFK Tidaholm, Tidaholms GIF, IFK Falköping FF, Johannesbergs LIF, Skövde AIK and Skara FC).
