Ösmo GIF FK

Ösmo GIF FK was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Ösmo GIF FK, 61 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Ösmo GIF FK could be found in Group 7 together with Typhoon FC, Skövde KIK and O Berytus. Ösmo GIF FK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Ale United with 0-2. In the Final, Enskede IK won over Alemannia Aachen and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. Ösmo GIF FK comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Hanvikens SK, Enskede IK, Hammarby IF FF, Älta IF, Huddinge IF, Essinge IK, Älvsjö AIK FF, Segeltorps IF, Pershagens SK and Assyriska FF).
