Typhoon FC

Typhoon FC was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Typhoon FC, 61 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Typhoon FC could be found in Group 7 together with Ösmo GIF FK, Skövde KIK and O Berytus. Typhoon FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Djurgårdens IF with 0-3. In the Final, Lyn Fotball won over Eskilsminne IF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Typhoon FC also participated in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in G18 Play off B, but lost it against Skövde KIK with 0-1. Typhoon FC comes from South Portland which lies approximately 5600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
