Holmalunds IF

Holmalunds IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). In addition to Holmalunds IF, 15 other teams from 7 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Holmalunds IF could be found in Group 4 together with NorCal PDP, Linköpings FC and Växjö DFF. Holmalunds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Team Viborg with 3-4. In the Final, Right to Dream won over Umeå IK FF and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). Holmalunds comes from Alingsås which lies approximately 41 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Alingsås does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Alingsås KIK, IK Kongahälla, Sävedalens IF, IF Elfsborg, HUS, Stenkullen GoIK, Lerums IS, Grunden Bois, Ytterby IS and Bergsjö IF).
