Linköpings FC

Linköpings FC was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). In addition to Linköpings FC, 15 other teams from 7 different countries played in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Linköpings FC could be found in Group 4 together with NorCal PDP, Växjö DFF and Holmalunds IF. Linköpings FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Right to Dream with 5-6. In the Final, Right to Dream won over Umeå IK FF and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Tipselit Trophy (G17). Linköpings FC comes from Linköping which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: BK Derby, Mjölby Södra IF, Tallboda IF, Mantorps FF, Åtvidabergs FF, Stångebro United, Mjölby AI/FF, IFK Norrköping, Mjölby FC and Svärtinge SK).
