FDF-Choma Warriors FC

FDF-Choma Warriors FC was one of three clubs from Zambia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to FDF-Choma Warriors FC, 77 other teams from 15 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof FDF-Choma Warriors FC could be found in Group 3 together with Backatorp IF, St. Paul Blackhawks and Skövde KIK/Våmb. FDF-Choma Warriors FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Kaupanger IL with 0-1. In the Final, Borgeby FK won over Gasteizko Neskak and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Other than FDF-Choma Warriors FC, the club Chiparamba Breakthrough Sports Academy does also originate from the area around .
