Skövde KIK/Våmb

Skövde KIK/Våmb was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Skövde KIK/Våmb, 77 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Skövde KIK/Våmb could be found in Group 3 together with Backatorp IF, FDF-Choma Warriors FC and St. Paul Blackhawks. Skövde KIK/Våmb continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Greve Fodbold with 0-4. In the Final, FC Djursholm won over Greve Fodbold and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Skövde KIK/Våmb comes from Skövde which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Sils IF, IFK Skövde FK, Skövde KIK, IFK Mariestad, Falköpings KIK, IFK Tidaholm, Tidaholms GIF, IFK Falköping FF, Johannesbergs LIF and Skövde AIK).
