Backatorp IF

In addition to Backatorp IF, 77 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Backatorp IF could be found in Group 3 together with FDF-Choma Warriors FC, St. Paul Blackhawks and Skövde KIK/Våmb. Backatorp IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lillehammer KFK with 0-4. In the Final, FC Djursholm won over Greve Fodbold and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Backatorp IF also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in G15 Play off A, but lost it against Sandvikens IF 1 with 4-6.
