HGH Halmstad

HGH Halmstad was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to HGH Halmstad, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof HGH Halmstad could be found in Group 20 together with Arnäs IF, Hässelby SK FF and Bönes IL. HGH Halmstad continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Älta IF with 4-6. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. HGH Halmstad comes from Harplinge which lies approximately 120 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Harplinge does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (IF Böljan, IS Halmia, Laholms FK, Halmstads BK, BK Astrio and Falkenbergs FF).
