Arnäs IF

Arnäs IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Arnäs IF, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Arnäs IF could be found in Group 20 together with Hässelby SK FF, HGH Halmstad and Bönes IL. Arnäs IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Gnosjö IF with 1-2. In the Final, TGK Worcestershire won over Gideonsbergs IF Vit and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Arnäs comes from Örnsköldsvik which lies approximately 720 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Örnsköldsvik does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (KB65 FF and Friska Viljor FC).
