Bönes IL

Bönes IL was one of 59 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Bönes IL, 118 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Bönes IL could be found in Group 20 together with Arnäs IF, Hässelby SK FF and HGH Halmstad. Bönes IL continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Värnamo with 0-1. In the Final, Team Odense Q won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Bönes comes from Bergen which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bergen does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Åsane IL, Løv-Ham, Nordhordland BK, SKK, Nest-Sotra and Løv-Ham/Bønes).
