Älta IF

In addition to Älta IF, 77 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Älta IF could be found in Group 12 together with CASL Challenge, GoF IF and KA. Älta IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Borgeby FK with 0-4. In the Final, Borgeby FK won over Gasteizko Neskak and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Älta IF also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in G15 Play off B, but lost it against Prior Lake Soccer Club with 0-2.
