CASL Challenge

CASL Challenge was one of 50 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to CASL Challenge, 77 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof CASL Challenge could be found in Group 12 together with GoF IF, KA and Älta IF. CASL Challenge continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FC Djursholm with 0-6. In the Final, FC Djursholm won over Greve Fodbold and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. CASL Challenge comes from Raleigh NC which lies approximately 6700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than CASL Challenge, the club Route10 Futbol does also originate from the area around Raleigh NC.
