They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Hisingsbacka FC could be found in Group 2 together with Euro Sports Brasil, Almada Foot and BK Flagg. Hisingsbacka FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against FK Fjellhamar with 1-4. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over IK Zenith and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Hisingsbacka FC also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2016.
