Tenhults IF

Tenhults IF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Tenhults IF, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Tenhults IF could be found in Group 6 together with FC Atromitos Halandriou, V. Frölunda IF and Atlas Lions. Tenhults IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Heritage SC Rovers with 1-2. In the Final, AS Poissy won over Club Paris Mexico and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Tenhults comes from Tenhult which lies approximately 140 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tenhult does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (IF Hallby, Nässjö FF, Jönköpings Södra IF, Husqvarna FF and Bankeryds SK).
