FC Atromitos Halandriou

FC Atromitos Halandriou was one of three clubs from Greece that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to FC Atromitos Halandriou, 98 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof FC Atromitos Halandriou could be found in Group 6 together with V. Frölunda IF, Atlas Lions and Tenhults IF. FC Atromitos Halandriou continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against JFV Hanse Lübeck with 5-6. In the Final, BK Häcken won over JFV Hanse Lübeck and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. FC Atromitos Halandriou comes from ATHENS which lies approximately 2400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around ATHENS does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Agia Paraskevi FC and Arsenal Soccer School Afidnon).
