ASL SC

ASL SC was one of 43 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to ASL SC, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof ASL SC could be found in Group 21 together with Follo FK, Ramlösa Södra FF and Charterhouse School. ASL SC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Garuda Keadilan FC with 0-1. In the Final, Las Vegas Sports Academy won over ED Moratalaz and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. ASL comes from Ellicott City which lies approximately 6300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than ASL SC, the club FC USA does also originate from the area around Ellicott City.
