Charterhouse School

Charterhouse School was one of 30 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Charterhouse School, 186 other teams from 38 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Charterhouse School could be found in Group 21 together with ASL SC, Follo FK and Ramlösa Södra FF. Charterhouse School continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Guernsey Schools with 0-2. In the Final, Cayyolu FC won over Hong Kong FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Charterhouse School comes from Godalming, SURREY which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Godalming, SURREY does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Phoenix Football Academy, NCF Elites, Winchester City FC, Ashford Town Youth FC, Doncaster Rovers FC and Arsenal Soccer Schools Hants FC).
