Forsby FF

Forsby FF was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Forsby FF, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Forsby FF could be found in Group 26 together with Zamwill, Vänersborgs IF and DFK Värmbol. Forsby FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Greve Fodbold with 0-3. In the Final, ASD Femminile Inter Milano won over SK Haugar and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Forsby comes from Köping which lies approximately 310 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Köping does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Among others: BK Sport, Skiljebo SK, Arboga Södra IF, Köping FF/MDFF, Västerås IK, Ekeby/Rytterne, Romfartuna GIF, Eskilstuna City FK, IF Pluss and Västerås BK30).
