DFK Värmbol

DFK Värmbol was one of 468 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to DFK Värmbol, 115 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof DFK Värmbol could be found in Group 26 together with Zamwill, Vänersborgs IF and Forsby FF. DFK Värmbol continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Östansbo IS with 2-6. In the Final, Santa Monica United won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. DFK Värmbol comes from Katrineholm which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Katrineholm does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Malmköping IF, Katrineholms AIK and Blackburn FC).
