Eastside FC

Eastside FC was one of 43 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Eastside FC, 80 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Eastside FC could be found in Group 1 together with Bergnäsets AIK, AC Gilleleje and IFK Norrköping DFK. Eastside FC continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Scandia United SA with 4-5. In the Final, Holmalunds IF won over Scandia United SA and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Eastside FC comes from Seattle which lies approximately 7600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
