Lusaka Youth Soccer Accademy

Lusaka Youth Soccer Accademy was one of three clubs from Zambia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Lusaka Youth Soccer Accademy, 98 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Lusaka Youth Soccer Accademy could be found in Group 21 together with Guldhedens IK, FC Rhenania Immendorf and Sporting Duet FC. Lusaka Youth Soccer Accademy continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Näsets SK/Utsikten BK with 4-5. In the Final, BK Häcken won over JFV Hanse Lübeck and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Lusaka Youth Soccer Accademy also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2015. They reached the 1/8 Final in B18 Play off A, but lost it against Torslanda IK with 5-7. Lusaka Youth Soccer Accademy comes from LUSAKA which lies approximately 8300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
