Sporting Duet FC

Sporting Duet FC was one of 30 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2016. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Sporting Duet FC, 98 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Sporting Duet FC could be found in Group 21 together with Lusaka Youth Soccer Accademy, Guldhedens IK and FC Rhenania Immendorf. Sporting Duet FC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FK Cementarnica 55 with 1-2. In the Final, AS Poissy won over Club Paris Mexico and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Sporting Duet FC comes from London which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around London does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2016 (Eton College, Kinetic Academy, Heath & Regents Park FC, Bromley Juniors FC, FC Hamlets, Young Parkonians FC, Academy FC, Lambeth Tigers FC and European Football Academy).
