Kareby IS

Kareby IS was one of 452 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2015. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Kareby IS, 196 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Kareby IS could be found in Group 37 together with FC København, Bollnäs GIF 1 and SSAcademy/Jankidevi School. Kareby IS continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Athletico SC 2 with 2-4. In the Final, BK Olympic Vit won over Athletico SC 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Kareby IS comes from Kungälv which lies approximately 18 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungälv does also provide 76 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2015 (Among others: Balltorps/KSK, Älvängens IK, Holmalunds IF, Lindome GIF, Älvsborg FF, Mossens BK, Näsets SK/Utsikten, Näsets SK, Finlandia-Pallo AIF and Sävedalens IF).
