Texas Spirit SC

Texas Spirit SC was one of 33 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Texas Spirit SC could be found in Group 19 together with Växjö DFF 2, Kungsbacka DFF and IFK Nyköping. Texas Spirit SC continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Hovås-Billdal IF with 0-1. In the Final, Tuve IF won over Södra Sandby IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 17. Texas Spirit comes from Tingvej 151 which lies approximately 8000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tingvej 151 does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Roanoke Star, Austin Lonestars, St. Paul Blackhawks, Peninsula Thunder, TUSA NC, SA United SC and Roanoke United).
