Kungsbacka DFF

Kungsbacka DFF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Kungsbacka DFF, 83 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Kungsbacka DFF could be found in Group 19 together with Texas Spirit SC, Växjö DFF 2 and IFK Nyköping. Kungsbacka DFF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Brighton & Hove Albion with 0-1. In the Final, Vaksala SK won over Göteborgs DFF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Kungsbacka DFF also participated in Girls 17 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/16 Final in G17 Play off A, but lost it against Cestria Girls FC with 0-2. Kungsbacka DFF comes from Kungsbacka which lies approximately 29 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungsbacka does also provide 67 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Älvsborg FF, Onsala BK, FC Amhult, Tuve FF, Mossens BK, Jitex BK, Askims IK, Tölö FF, Öckerö IF and Balltorps FF).
