V. Ingelstad IS

V. Ingelstad IS was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to V. Ingelstad IS, 162 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof V. Ingelstad IS could be found in Group 35 together with Performance Football Academy, SC Weyhe e.V. and Lunden ÖBK. V. Ingelstad IS continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Florø SK 1 with 3-6. In the Final, IFK Stocksund Blå won over Florø SK 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. V. Ingelstad IS comes from Västra Ingelstad which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västra Ingelstad does also provide 25 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: LB07, Torns IF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, Skurups DFF, Uppåkra IF, Genarps IF/Dalby GIF, IFK Klagshamn, Staffanstorps GIF, Viridis Skurup FC and IF Lödde).
