Lunden ÖBK

Lunden ÖBK was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Lunden ÖBK, 162 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 40 different groups, whereof Lunden ÖBK could be found in Group 35 together with Performance Football Academy, SC Weyhe e.V. and V. Ingelstad IS. Lunden ÖBK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Markaryds IF with 1-4. In the Final, Olympiacos FC won over Chungmu and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Lunden ÖBK originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 71 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Kode IF, Älvsborg FF, Onsala BK, FC Amhult, Tuve FF, Mossens BK, Lekstorps IF, Jitex BK, Askims IK and Tölö FF).
