ÖV United

ÖV United was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 19. In addition to ÖV United, 28 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 19. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof ÖV United could be found in Group 4 together with IK Grand Bodø, Våmbs IF, Kampala Junior Team and Alingsås KIK. ÖV United continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Färjestadens GoIF with 1-3. In the Final, Våmbs IF won over Näsets SK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 19. ÖV United comes from Linköping which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linköping does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (BK Derby, Linköpings FF, Mjölby Södra IF, Borensbergs IF/FK, Åtvidabergs FF, Mjölby AI/FF, Borens IK, FC Linköping City, AFK Linköping and Linköpings FC).
