Våmbs IF

Våmbs IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 19. In addition to Våmbs IF, 28 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 19. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Våmbs IF could be found in Group 4 together with IK Grand Bodø, ÖV United, Kampala Junior Team and Alingsås KIK. Våmbs IF made it to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Näsets SK, which they won with 5-3. Thereby Våmbs IF won the entire Play off B in Girls 19 during Gothia Cup 2014. Våmbs comes from Skövde which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Tidaholms GIF, Töreboda IK, Skara FC, IFK Falköping FF, Johannesbergs LIF, IFK Skövde, Skövde AIK and IFK Mariestad).
