Glacier FC

Glacier FC was one of 15 clubs from India that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Glacier FC, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Glacier FC could be found in Group 10 together with IF Vardar, Dallas Texans and Al-azhar IF. Glacier FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FC Rueil Malmaison with 0-6. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over FC Rueil Malmaison and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Glacier FC comes from New Delhi which lies approximately 5900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around New Delhi does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (United India FC, Delhi Public School, Real Football Academy and Maharashtra).
