Tidaholm, IFK

Tidaholm, IFK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Tidaholm, IFK, 147 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 36 different groups, whereof Tidaholm, IFK could be found in Group 23 together with Youth Club Soccer Academy, TuS Strudden and Yxhults IK. Tidaholm, IFK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Paris F.C 1 with 0-2. In the Final, Fässbergs IF won over Fyllingsdalen FK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 18. Tidaholm, IFK comes from Tidaholm which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tidaholm does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Bankeryds SK, Skultorps IF, Falköpings FK, Falköpings KIK, Habo IF, Mullsjö IF and Varnhems IF).
