TuS Strudden

TuS Strudden was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to TuS Strudden, 147 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 36 different groups, whereof TuS Strudden could be found in Group 23 together with Youth Club Soccer Academy, Tidaholm, IFK and Yxhults IK. TuS Strudden continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against C.B./Oeste Solidaria with 0-1. In the Final, Corsa FC 1 won over C.B./Oeste Solidaria and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 18. Strudden comes from Emden which lies approximately 570 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than TuS Strudden, the club Süderneulander SV does also originate from the area around Emden.
