Väskinde AIS

Väskinde AIS was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Väskinde AIS, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Väskinde AIS could be found in Group 11 together with Billeberga GIF, RoPs and MTV Treubund Lüneburg 1. Väskinde AIS continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Kubikenborgs IF 1 with 0-2. In the Final, ACBB Paris won over Kampala Junior Team and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 15. Väskinde AIS comes from Visby which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Väskinde AIS, the club P18 IK does also originate from the area around Visby.
