Järla IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Järla IF, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Järla IF could be found in Group 7 together with TSV Abbehausen, Värnamo, IFK and Falköpings KIK. Järla IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SC Borgfeld eV with 0-1. In the Final, Kristianstad DFF won over Skara FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 15. Järla comes from Nacka which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nacka does also provide 53 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Spånga IS FK, IF Brommapojkarna, AIK FF, Älvsjö AIK FF, Bollstanäs SK, Tullinge TP, Rosersberg IK, Rönninge Salem Fotboll, Värtans IK and DFF, Vasalunds).
