Falköpings KIK

Falköpings KIK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Falköpings KIK, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Falköpings KIK could be found in Group 7 together with TSV Abbehausen, Värnamo, IFK and Järla IF. Falköpings KIK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Belgica with 0-8. In the Final, Kristianstad DFF won over Skara FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 15. Falköpings KIK comes from Falköping which lies approximately 110 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Falköping does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Torslanda IK, Vinninga AIF, GAIS, Skara FC, V. Frölunda IF, Levene/Skogslund, Skultorps IF, Falköpings FK, Mullsjö IF and Varnhems IF).
