Åkra FC

Åkra FC is one of 416 clubs from Sweden that will have teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They will participate with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Åkra FC, 110 other teams from 23 different countries will play in Boys 17. They are divided into 27 different groups, whereof Åkra FC can be found in Group 23 together with FC Teutonia 05, Götaholm BK and Just Play Football Club. Åkra FC also participated in Boys 16 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/32 Final in B16 Play off A, but lost it against Svärtinge SK with 0-2. Åkra FC comes from Sala which lies approximately 360 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sala does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Västerås SK Ungdom, Västerås IK, Skiljebo SK, Surahammars FK and Sala FF).
