Slätta SK

Slätta SK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Slätta SK, 60 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 15 different groups, whereof Slätta SK could be found in Group 12 together with Trosvik IF, C2 United and Ulricehamns IFK. Slätta SK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Racing Power FC with 3-4. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Jitex BK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Slätta SK also participated in Girls 16 during Gothia Cup 2023. They reached the 1/16 Final in G16 Play off A, but lost it against Medkila IL with 7-8. Slätta SK comes from Falun which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Falun does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Islingby IK / IK Brage, Gustafs GoIF/Islingby IK, Gustafs GoIF, Islingby IK and Kvarnsvedens IK).
