Stocksunds IF

Stocksunds IF was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Stocksunds IF, 189 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Stocksunds IF could be found in Group 35 together with Alliance Futbol Club, Torns IF 1 and FK Fjellhamar. Stocksunds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against A.S.D. ATLETICO S.P.M. CALCIO with 0-3. In the Final, Throttur, FC 1 won over Bara GIF Svart and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Stocksunds comes from Djursholm which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Djursholm does also provide 75 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Among others: Örby IS/Söder United, Stockholm Södra Fotboll, Stureby FF, Ursvik IK, Essinge IK, IK Frej Täby, Djurgårdens IF, Knarrbacken FC, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and IFK Stocksund).
