Sunderby SK

Sunderby SK was one of 419 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2024. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Sunderby SK, 129 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 32 different groups, whereof Sunderby SK could be found in Group 27 together with IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo 1, Southampton Town United and Onsala BK. Sunderby SK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Smedby AIS with 0-3. In the Final, Dallas Texans Soccer Club won over Iconz Elite and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Sunderby SK comes from Södra Sunderbyn which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Södra Sunderbyn does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2024 (Alviks IK, IFK Luleå, Luleå SK, Bergnäsets AIK, FC Norrsken and Sunderby SK/ Gammelstads IF).
