Kungsbacka DFF

Kungsbacka DFF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Kungsbacka DFF, 68 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof Kungsbacka DFF could be found in Group 17 together with Medkila IL, Asarums IF/FK and FC Wacker Innsbruck. Kungsbacka DFF made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 17. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against FC Djursholm, which they won with 3-2. Thereby Kungsbacka DFF won the entire Play off A in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2018. Kungsbacka DFF also participated in Girls 18 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the Semi final in G18 Play off A, but lost it against Lyn Fotball with 3-5. Kungsbacka DFF comes from Kungsbacka which lies approximately 45 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungsbacka does also provide 29 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Kållered SK, Askims IK, Onsala BK, Särö IK, Tölö IF, Jitex Mölndal BK, Tofta GiF, Solängens BK, HUS and Älvsborg FF).
