Sävedalens IF

In addition to Sävedalens IF, 77 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Sävedalens IF could be found in Group 4 together with Mankato United Attack, KL Youth Soccer and Bele Barkarby FF. Sävedalens IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against FC Staffanstorp with 1-2. In the Final, Borgeby FK won over Gasteizko Neskak and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Sävedalens IF also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2016. They reached the 1/16 Final in G15 Play off A, but lost it against Sollentuna FK 1 with 0-3.
