Bele Barkarby FF

Bele Barkarby FF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Bele Barkarby FF, 77 other teams from 16 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Bele Barkarby FF could be found in Group 4 together with Sävedalens IF, Mankato United Attack and KL Youth Soccer. Bele Barkarby FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FDF - Academia FC with 5-6. In the Final, Borgeby FK won over Gasteizko Neskak and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Bele Barkarby comes from Stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stockholm does also provide 60 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (Among others: Hanvikens SK, Enskede IK, Hammarby IF FF, Bollstanäs SK, Danderyds SK, Älta IF, Enebybergs IF, Ekerö IK, Huddinge IF and Ingarö IF).
