Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad was one of 9 clubs from India that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Ahmedabad, 46 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Ahmedabad could be found in Group 4 together with Azalea BK 2, Boo FF 2 and Råstorp/Timsfors IF. Ahmedabad continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Järna SK with 1-2. In the Final, IF Väster 1 won over Azalea BK 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 12. Other than Ahmedabad, the club SKF India does also originate from the area around .
