Råstorp/Timsfors IF

Råstorp/Timsfors IF was one of 421 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2017. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Råstorp/Timsfors IF, 46 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Råstorp/Timsfors IF could be found in Group 4 together with Azalea BK 2, Boo FF 2 and Ahmedabad. Råstorp/Timsfors IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against LAZ Stockerau with 0-9. In the Final, Boo IS won over IF Brommapojkarna and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 12. Råstorp/Timsfors comes from Markaryd which lies approximately 170 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Markaryd does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2017 (IFK Osby, Wisseltofta IF, Markaryds IF, IFK Hässleholm, Älmhults IF, FC Hessleholm, Laholms FK, Vittsjö GIK and Hässleholms IF).
